We also offer a Garrard 301/401 restoration service. We can transform most Garrard's with chassis and platter re-sprays, and complete overhaul, ensuring your Garrard not only performs correctly but looks stunning too. Prices vary on condition and parts needed. Please note, some 401 parts are very difficult to come by, control plates etc. Garrard 301 and 401 turntables are complex turntables and need servicing by specialists to realize their full potential.
We also offer a setup service to make sure your deck is performing at its best, plus upgrade options to realize your decks full potential.
A note about on line auction sites
While these can be a great source for purchasing a used turntable, you never really know what you are getting until it arrives. You may be lucky and the deck is in good usable condition, or it may have been stored for many years and will require at least a basic service.
Vinyl replay should at the very least compete with digital formats but with the right equipment and setup, should completely run rings around a CD player. That does not mean expensive, serious performance can be achieved with even modest equipment so long as the the budget is spent in the right places.
